Intended audience: Representatives from small and medium businesses interested in learning how to save energy and money through energy efficiency improvements. These sessions are designed for commercial businesses such as offices, retail outlets and lodgings.
Repeats of this session: This session will be repeated four times except that the morning sessions will also include information specific to refrigeration systems for food stores and restaurants.

Instructor: Karen McGinley, KEMA, Inc.
Karen McGinley is a mechanical engineer and energy efficiency program administrator at KEMA, Inc. with over 8 years experience helping small and medium businesses to save energy. She has run numerous workshops for customers and contractors and gives presentations promoting energy conservation throughout the community. McGinley is currently administrating the "Sure Bet" energy conservation program for Sierra Pacific Power Company and assists customers in calculating energy savings and understanding the various components of conservation projects. Ms. McGinley is also responsible for energy analysis, program implementation and quantitative research to estimate annual energy and peak demand savings for commercial customers. Previously, Ms. McGinley worked for PG&E as an energy management representative, performing energy utilization audits for commercial and industrial customers.
